Turf Battles: Improving Collaboration Between MSOs, CVOs, Provider Enrollment and More
Presented By: Sara Cameron is Director, Professional Services for Hardenbergh/Sentact Group. She brings
over two decades of experience in healthcare administration, Medical Staff Services, Medical Staff Quality and
Graduate Medical Education. She brings her vast experience and accomplishments serving several large health
systems to support clients by imparting best practices to the Medical Staff in the areas of credentialing,
privileging, peer review, professional development, and performance improvement. Sara completed the
NAMSS Leadership Certificate Program in its inaugural offering in 2016 and has served in many volunteer and
elected positions with the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS). She served on the
membership, education and audit and finance committees, and was elected as a member at large and
secretary treasurer on the board of directors. Sara has held several roles in State leadership, presented
hundreds of hours of education to medical staff professionals, physicians, hospital leadership and attorneys
and authored several publications about medical staff leadership.
Session Summary: Improving collaboration between Medical Staff Services in an MSO, Central Verification Office,
(CVO), and Provider Enrollment is vital to the delivery of efficient provider credentialing and privileging. Improving these
collaborations can drive provider onboarding times and provider satisfaction resulting in providers seeing patients and
billing for services faster. This presentation is aimed to give the learner perspectives that will foster understanding,
encourage dialogue, and promote actionable strategies for enhanced teamwork and processes that will drive greater
collaboration and efficiencies.
